Today I get home and I notice the cats running loose outside. How'd you guys get out, I ask?
And then, after I get in, I notice how: they've ripped a hole in my patio screen door!
Freakin' cats.
Today one was bumping the blinds in my room about around six AM. I woke up, chased him around some, and then I could not sleep. So I answered some work e-mail, and finally managed a brief nap, before putting in an early 10AM appearance at work. Wasn't hungry all day, though I managed to eat some munchies. Got a call from the body shop, went to pick up the car ... you can't tell Benjy dinged it. I mentioned this story? Probably not? Well, a little whiles back Benjy's car had a dead battery. I was sleeping in when he asked if he could borrow my car for a jump. As I did not want to crawl out of bed and put on clothes, I tossed him the keys. A while later Benjy comes back and explains how he damaged my car, but he'd totally pay for it. He was more freaked out about it than I was ... I mean, he damaged his friend's car! I felt slightly bad for not getting out of bed and pull the car out for him, which would have saved him the trouble of whacking the passenger's side mirror against the parking structure. Anyways ... is all over so not much story there, other than the queer sense that for about a thousand dollars, you can get your car fixed up so it looks like nothing bad ever happened to it.
Well, is time to relax. Stayed late for Pizza and to swap an Ethernet card out of our shell box. Has been a productive work week, so ... tired but good.
