Ah, 10.15 pm and I'm rebooting our main router.
Last week was a lazy, undirected week around the office. A little bit of slack as company visited from out of town. Settle the nerves a bit.
Late last week I started pulling stuff back together, now I have a list of things to do.
Back in the saddle again.
... and the router is back up. FreeBSD. Firewall. I didn't make the decision, but I stand by it.
Let's see if I can remember half of what I did this weekend.
Saturday we drove down to Santa Cruz. Nice beach, but the water is damned cold. And the surf wasn't all that. I shared the praise of what I'd observed of Pacific Beach in San Diego, and mentioned that Mikey always praises Pismo.
Sunday was a very warm day. And the warmth penetrated the pool. After going with Rene and Heather out to a nice french restaurant by Stanford, I chilled out, reading, and later hopping in the pool.
It was a nice day indeed.
