Hankerins and Hair

I'm thinking to redo this area yet again.

I like this idea of everything by month see, but dazed runs a bit slow on sasquatch's '486, and the idea of making it more thematic see ... perhaps with subdirectories and stuff, which will reduce the number of files in this one big directory: 102 of 'em right now ...

I can still use dazed in a modified form to build the middle parts of the indexes though, and that will be good.

This is also consistent with an as yet unspoken desire to try and make more sense of my life by making it more distinctly periodic ... I'm thinking of arranging things so that at every regular interval, I can pause for a moment to take stock: how would I characterise this recent period? How does it compare to other periods. Taking a thematic approach to each month, perhaps putting month-long concepts, like awards, in the index ... that could promote that.

Don't ya see Kyle? Thumbnails.

In other news, that haircut I got over spring break? I can tell the gals like it more ... whenever I get a haircut they're a little more friendly. Keeping shaved helps too. Perhaps once I'm back in my regular pattern in Chicago I should vow to getting a trim not less than every month and a half.

... we don't get fooled again!

Southpark sucked tonight. A half hour of Terence and Philip, who I can't normally stand anyways. It was suggested that the episode was really just a bad April Fool's joke. I wanted to quote here the first two lines to the song Oh Canada but I can't for the life of me recall the second line.

In other news, I'm nearly done with the NASO Pow Wow thank you letter, at least a draft. I'm going to finish it up tomorrow and perhaps get started on a website in response to savethechief.com - I have the technology, but more importantly, I have the impetus of not knowing what better to do in B&TW 275.

Actually, perhaps I should move right now on this by month idea ...
