What have you learned lately?

Aaron Freeman broadcasted his last episode of Metropolis today. 'twas kinda sad, but you know, things never last forever and all, 'twas good while it lasted, though I never got to hear much of Aaron's show. Hell keep outta trouble though I'm sure.

Just sorted through my Netscape bookmarks ... the collection is growing to an awesome number ... I dunno how many really, but there's more all the time ...

Dannyman's Best of the Web is due for an update ... I'll have to remove Jay and oZ's diaries, but have two new ones to add in ... mu and Like Sands Through The Hourglass ... so counting Alethea's "Tracing" that's three diaries I will be trying to read regularly.

Another did catch my eye with it's light design philosophy and apparent wealth of content, but the links are forcibly underlined. I turned underlined links off for my own aesthetic reasons, and anal as it sounds, I have a real hard time having any desire to peruse a sight that has explicitly called my preference into question and said "no, you asshole dannyman, for some reason these links must be underlined!"

Yeah, I'm picky.

And then, another cute toy - this one showing you what is being requested for searches from webcrawler ... eeenteresting ...

PPP was a bitch to set up, but I'm now sitting on the far end of a rather 'leet 14.4k link, that automagically connects when my system wishes to transfer packets ... with no intervention on my part. Makes me happy anyway. :) Set up in the kitchen, as that's the only location with three-pronged outlets .... [Da Kitchen]

Actually, the Kitchen's been a hub of activity all day long - Christmas cookies and uhmm ... other stuff like ... Christmas cookies. Well, we ate pizza in front of the TV together as a family too, watching the holiday Episode of South Park, laughing hilariously. Uncle's first experience with the show. Then, while making cookies, I shared with the family the Spirit of Christmas QuickTime - 53 megabytes of a 5 minute clip where the kids really swear ... Uncle watched it a second time over to catch all the dirty words in their full glory ... then I later had the Asshole song from Dennis Leary playing off of mp3 ... the whole family was laughing at that one too!

Yeah, I guess my family's pretty cool. Hahahaha, I bet all you Asian kids are jealous! Well, some of ya, and ya don't gotta be Asian, but you know what I mean if you got them "Asian parents" so many of my friends have lamented ...
