shaved head this evening. it was quite a feat let me tell you. near the middle it became too thick for the clippers, a Wahl Groomsman, designed for keeping beard in check, could go no further.
i took a quick shower, applying liberal amounts of shampoo, then got the scissors out, cutting with brute force, and ultimately put an extension on the clippers, cutting it closer on successive passes. when done I ran my normal electric razor over everything to try to get things smooth. i may invest in some razorblades and shaving cream tomorrow though, to get it smooth as a baby's ass.
yesterday was different. i bought the clippers Mondays and after charging Tuesday decided to trim my beard before meeting this chick i had stalked, Sandy, for dinner. i went a bit too far and said fuck it and let the clippers do their job, and was clean shaven for more than 24 hours before going for the grand finale.
i took some census before going through with the shave. the most negative comment was from Mary who said she preferred longer hair on either gender. Most folks were indifferent or favored the idea. I ran into Mike shortly before the event, he had shaved his head last year sometime, and told me he liked it. it'll be cool for the summer, though i wonder about sunburn. the scalp does seem justifiably lighter than the more exposed bits.
so, new people. two ladies i stalked, the aforementioned Sandy and another ... Saisnith, Stephanie, who seems pretty complicated and full of romantic tragedies and stuff. Sandy is alright. i can not tell yet what she thinks or wants of me, but then i can not tell these same things of her on my part either. i see likely either a good friendship developing or more likely we'll hang out some and drift apart. she did inspire me to get some exercise in at CRC-E yesterday, and I think to repeat the experience tomorrow, as friends or not, the exercise is kind of enjoyable amidst this rather dull summer, and the scenery, consisting of generally at least a few Asian women wearing black spandex clothing, is very pleasing.
yeah call me a pig but i know most folk have at least a little bit of reason to work out is to ogle. well, maybe not most, but enough to reckon with. ogling aint enough for me though, i gotta have some other reason to get all sweaty, and i think the activity does me good, especially sitting in front of a computer all day. I've also been lonelier as of late, either neglecting my cliques or them neglecting me, or folks just being busy with studies. unlike everyone else I'd busy all day and free all evening, seeing no one in class of course, and not as many during my quad lunches as I'd ideally like.
