... and time is something that's been passing differently of late. I haven't a computer in the apartment, though Victor, the only other roommate currently around, has one upstairs. I've been running over to work to check email and stuff. That's where I am now. That's where I've got the K5 sitting, though I'm using a Sparc IPC right now because the keyboard is easier on me.
Moving was nearly traumatic. If it were not for the assistance of my excellent girlfriend it would have been most awful. Anyways, I thought I had 'til Sunday, but was late for checkout Saturday! Well, what can one do? Anyways a deal on using Casey's car fell through, so we dragged all my stuff across campus to the apartment on a cart. Most exciting. Quite a feat. I was proud of us.
So I've spent a goodly amount of time over at Daniels, using their lab. I hope to run home early next week maybe to get a nicer keyboard, get a license, visit with family, and the like. I've been spending much time with Asao, and with Daniels Hall folk. A group of us meet for dinner nights at 6:30, though I gotta conserve the cash sometime. It's been chilly lately, and I haven't had quite the desire to walk on out to Meijer or wherever to stock up on cheap groceries. Well, fridge needs a cleaning anyways.
See, Victor's been apologising for my predecessors being sloppy people. The bathroom area on the first floor is quite scuzzy, and when he saw it he offered the use of the upstairs bathroom. See, I live downstairs, and he upstairs. Two levels for five bedrooms. Anyways I took a shower there this morning and it was excellent! I mean, the head was above my own, see that's a good thing. Plus it was clean, and Victor's got this black curtain and towels in there. Gosh! I was totally happy even though it ran out of hot water. Ah well, shouldnt revel in pleasure too long maybe.
Anyway, Victor's a good guy. I never see him without Inez, his girlfriend. They look good together, and they seem quite decent with me too.
Well, I'll go work on edit.pl now ... cyas!
