Yeah, so I figure to wander over by coffeehouse, and when I get there they scan my ID and tell me I can't come in, because I've already eaten dinner. No, it's not good enough that I skipped lunch yesterday! ARGH!
And of course I don't have the $3.75 they want in exchange on me. I should try to conserve money anyway though, as I have to pay for the apartment this week, and housing deposit for next semester, and a deposit for Josh, who I'm subleasing from. That and I turned my time cards in late so it will be a while longer before I am next paid, I'm gonna be squeaking by, possibly forced to take a short-term cash advance from my Discover card, but that woudn't be too bad. I got a full-time job, and I'd at least have my housing paid for!
Independance.
Not that I particularly need independence from my good mother, it's just nice to know I can fend for myself somewhat.
I saw Independance Day recently, or rather, it was viewed in my room, so I watched it. Silly movie, but some fun nonetheless. I think I'd rather forget it for the most part though. Especially all the silly clap-trap about computer viruses killing off aliens.
Today I learned much at work. Or, rather I learned cool stuff about how to hook up an arbitrary room in CAB to the network, which is in most cases not tricky at all. I enjoyed myself.
Asao walked me home after dinner today. Study break. She's horribly tired, and has another exam tomorrow, after which she'll be free. She seemed awfully happy at the prospect.
I'm not studying, yet. I'm playing with the very very very first earliest incarnations of my future "friends list". You can see it if you want and if you wanna help me out, I can put you in there for now, though no guarantees it'll actually be preserved. If you want the publicity though, you can send me a "nickname", password, "Full Name", your URL and email address. Volunteers are good. Plus if folks got ideas or suggestions, lemme know. The current plan is to have certain information collection that can be searched in certain ways and that can be edited by friends as they see fit via a form. Neat huh? Yah, we'll see ...
